Pinworms
The eggs of the pin worm are so small that they can travel on the wind. They are a perennial problem with children. These tiny worms come out at night laying their eggs around a child's anal verge. The eggs cause itching. The child scratches. The eggs lodge under the fingernails, which in turn find their way to children's mouths again and then the life cycle of the pinworm is completed. So common is the ubiquitous pinworm, that any family with young children can safely take a dose of Combantrin or Vermox every six months.
Plantar Warts
A species of wart that prefers to burrow into the soles of the feet and palms of the hands are responsible for Plantar Warts. Plantar is a medical term that simply means the bottom of the palms or soles and it does not refer to people that grow rubber plantations for a living.

Do not be misled by the promise of a cure through surgery. At best the surgeon can offer only a 50/50 chance. The worst possible scenario is a large painful hole curetted into the bottom of your foot out of whose smoking, cauterized base appears another Plantar Wart.
