HOW TO SURVIVE YOUR DOCTOR: PUBIC LICE AND PULMICORT
Pubic Lice
Infestation by Pedicularis Pubis is difficult to contract other than by sexual transmission. These tiny crab like louses take up residence and live in the pubic hair causing both irritation and an itch. Pedicularis Pubis can spread along the hairlines and in hairy men proceed all the way up to their beards.
Home Remedies
Fortunately most topical insecticides will eradicate pubic lice. Double wash the sheets and underwear and get a fine toothed comb, to remove the "nits" or eggs glued on to the base of the pubic hairs. It is good manners to notify a sexual partner; although they will probably be aware of the problem before you have time to call. In the presence of a pubic lice infestation go to the doctors and have an STD check. If you have caught one Sexually Transmitted Disease it is altogether possible that you have caught another.
Pulmicort
Pulmicort is a surface acting steroid hormone delivered to the lungs by a new delivery system called the Turbuhaler. Instead of using chloroflurocarbons to propel the therapeutic agent into the users’ mouth, all the Turbuhaler requires is a simple inhalation. This method does more than remove toxic fluorocarbons from the body and the atmosphere. It stops the steroid hormone from impacting upon the back of the throat, destined never to reach its intended target and where it can suppress the local immune system to cause Candida overgrowth and thrush. Pulmicort could have some passing advantages over Becotide and Aldecin inhalers in that its active steroid hormone has a longer duration of action. This means only one set of fixed doses every day.
