SNEEZES AND ORGASMS
I've heard that the intensity of a woman's sneeze is somehow comparable to the intensity of her orgasm—a very convulsive sneeze, a very convulsive orgasm. A sexologist has said this observation is not to be sneezed at. Would you please comment?
Seems to me I've heard the same. I'm certain there are many who would be willing to join in a research project to settle this question.

Regarding orgasms and sneezes.
What can be said of beings who frequently attempt to abort their sneezes by blocking the nostrils? I know of several such 'abortionists' who also have weak orgasms—weak as defined by either themselves or their partners.
Blocking the nostrils while sneezing may cause a ruptured eardrum because of greatly increased air pressure. The Eustacian tubes are the connecting airways between the nasal passages and ears. Before airplane cabins were pressurized, it was necessary to yawn or swallow when ascending or descending in order to equalize pressure of the air in the ears and the outside air.
Research on the relationship between sneezes and orgasms continues and is soon expected to reach a climax.
More on sneezes. A medical student from the University of Cincinnati has apparently been nosing about for information on this vital question. He sent me a photocopy of page 748 from Ham's Histology, fifth edition, a textbook widely used in medical schools. The author states that the nasal passages are lined with erectile tissue very similar to that found in the penis and notes the case of a sixteenth-century youth who sneezed each time he saw a pretty girl.
To those who may still raise their noses to the possibility of a relationship between the genital and nasal systems, he points out that in much of the animal kingdom sexual stimulation is dependent upon smell. This applies also to man.
Several patients have reported relief from nasal congestion following sexual intercourse. No prescription is required.
