Keeping in Shape
My wife is concerned about her breasts drooping after our baby is born and wants to know if they can be brought back into shape; she plans to breast-feed the baby. This concerns me too, since I am as breast-brainwashed as the next American male.
After the birth of your baby, your wife should exercise daily to maintain and improve the muscle tone of all her body. These exercises should include the pectoral muscles, which help give support to the breasts. Breast-fed is best fed. Groove with your wife and baby doing their beautiful thing.
Your nearest YWCA or Red Cross chapter should have classes and/or booklets providing information about the proper exercises for your wife.
Predicting the Future
My girlfriend, who has fine, shapely breasts, doesn't wear a bra anymore and I love it and so does she. We were wondering, however, what effect this will have on her breasts, e.g., in ten or twenty years.
If your girlfriend's fine, shapely breasts are of "normal" size, regular exercise to strengthen her pectoral muscles would be of more benefit to her than a bra. The shape of a woman's breasts will change as she matures. Besides, in ten or twenty years she may have ten or twenty children.
