SURPRISE!
Doctor:
Right after our climax was reached, I touched my lover's testicles. He reacted in what I then thought was just further ecstasy, but later he said that it was very painful. But just at that moment he said that if I had done it earlier, it wouldn't have hurt at all.
Why does that happen? I am not overly experienced yet, so I would like to know. Could you send me a reply instead of printing one? He reads your column every week and I want him to be surprised.
Thank you, Susan —
Dear Susan:
There are many things in love as well as in medicine which may be learned only by experience. You have mentioned one of them.
Touching the testicles before orgasm is one of the ways a woman may greatly excite her lover; in fact, it is a way of hastening the orgasm of the male. Many women never learn this so your lover is fortunate that you have.
But for some reason, touching the testicles just after orgasm often gives an unpleasant sensation. This is sometimes true also of intercourse immediately after a climax has been reached.
As you spend more time with your lover you will discover the things which please both of you. And so long as both of you agree, there is nothing you can do that is wrong or shameful.
Sincerely,
Eugene Schoenfeld, M.D.
